The deputy director of the Blanquerna Observatory, Jordi Sànchez, took part in the first international symposium ‘Connecting Actions‘ of European intercultural and interreligious dialogue groups in Paris on the 25th of November.

The symposium, organised by the Jewish-Muslim Conference (MJC) in cooperation with the organisations Coexister, Three Faith Forum, Faith Matters and the European Union of Jewish Students, aimed to share experiences in the field of interreligious and intercultural dialogue in Europe, highlighting best practices, mistakes made and the best lessons learned by the different organisations.

The symposium took place in the context of rising religious tensions in Europe and the refugee crisis, and just one year after the first anniversary of the Paris attacks.
