A pope among wolves, virtual coffee with Marco Politi

Marco Politi, the journalist specialized in religion and author of several books on recent popes has participated in the seminar Communication and Church organized by the Joan Maragall Foundation and moderated by our director Míriam Díez. Marco Politi has spoken of the “unprecedented” opposition that Pope Francis is having, also from within the Vatican’s internal circles, and he has referred to papal decisions that are already irrevocable, such as the firm hand against corruption or the fact that he has expelled three cardinals from the college of cardinals.

Politi is the author of the book Pope Francis Among the Wolves and is an editorialist for Il fatto Quotidiano. For more than two decades he has written about religion in the newspaper La Repubblica. The coffee took place on December 9th, 2020.
