The deputy director of the Observatory, Alba Sabaté Gauxachs, has received the Extraordinary Doctorate award for her thesis: “Slow Media and Religion. The New New Journalism as an Agora for Understanding”. Sabaté received the award at the hands of the Rector of the Ramon Llull University during the opening ceremony of the 2020-2021 academic year of the same institution. The thesis, which analyzes and proposes the new new journalism as a format for intercultural and interreligious dialogue, was defended on April 24, 2020.
