Alba Sabaté, a member of the Blanquerna Observatory on Communication, Religion and Culture, participated in the NOI♀SE Summer School, a seminar specialising in communication, gender and immigration, organised by the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands) for the last 24 years. During the week-long course, the Observatory presented the Digital Narratives project, based on immigrant women, religion and technology in the Raval neighbourhood. The annual meeting brings together around a hundred researchers from all over the world and encourages debate and dialogue about research and the different perspectives presented by experts such as, in this year’s edition, Gloria Wekker (University of Utrecht), Koen Leurs (University of Utrecht) and Yasmin Gunaratnam (Goldsmiths University, London).
