British Euroscepticism, the rise of racism, suspicion of religious minorities during the pandemic and the fragility of multiculturalism were some of the questions that Professor Tim Hutchings, a sociologist and digital religion expert at the University of Nottingham, answered during the session with the Global Governance and Religions class of the GCM Degree of the Faculty last Tuesday, October 20. In his presentation, the professor also addressed the history of Christianity, the Celtic presence on the British island and the birth of the Anglican Church.
