Dr. Míriam Díez elected member of the Board of the International Society of Media, Religion and Culture

At the annual congress held in Seoul, South Korea, in August this year, the professor and director of the Blanquerna Observatory, Dr Míriam Díez Bosch, was elected for four years as a member of the International Board of the International Society of Media, Religion and Culture. The new president of the ISMRC is Professor Mia Lövheim of Uppsala University, who collaborated with our Observatory in the European RISECI project. In the photo, our professor with Professor Steward M. Hoover, Director of the Centre of Media, Religion and Culture in Boulder, Colorado, and Jean-Baptiste Sourou, a communicologist from Benin. During the congress, the Digital Narratives research was presented, focusing on immigrant women, religion and technology in the Raval neighbourhood (www.womentechreligion.com).
