Last Friday, a delegation from our School participated in the fourth Emerson-Blanquerna Global Summit, hosted by Emerson College. Under the title “Politics, Propaganda & Strategic Diplomacy”, the summit examined political, diplomatic, and communication strategies locally, nationally, and globally. The best place to do that, of course, was the U.C. Capitol Visitor Center.

In representation of Blanquerna, there was a good turnout from the School: the Dean of the School, Dr. Josep Maria Carbonell, the director of Global Communication Management Degree, Dr. Enric Ordeix; the director of Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion and Culture, Dr. Miriam Díez; the director of Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Degree, Dr. Josep Rom; the director of Research Institute, Dr. Alberto Sáez; the International Relations Degree coordinator, Dr. Oscar Mateos; professors Dr. Jaume Suau, Dra. Elena Yeste and researcher Alba Sabaté. Many more, though, participated submitting their papers in order to contribute in the discussion.
