Tomorrow, Wednesday, the participants in the project “Religion in the shaping of a European cultural identity“, of which the Observatory is the main partner, will meet for the first time, starting in June 2013 and running for two years.

Tomorrow, partners from Sweden, Slovenia and the United Kingdom (Scotland) will meet for the first time, from the Sigtuna Foundation in Uppsala, the Museum of Christianity in Ljubljana and the University of Edinburgh.

The selected project aims to create a European cooperation network on religion, culture and communication. In addition to producing a global report and a European religious and cultural calendar, the partners will organise workshops, a ‘religious techno-lab’, exhibitions, debates, a film festival and discuss topics such as European identity, youth and religion, peace and sacred art, humour, religiosity and the media, or digital religion and European identity.
