HUMcore. Humanitarian Corridors Integration pathways

A project funded by the European Commission and led by Sant’Egidio (Rome, Italy), which aims to provide a safe and legal transfer for people in situations of particular danger or suffering in their place of residence, promoting social inclusion based on a network of solidarity. The aim is to promote the integration of third country nationals in need of protection by improving the procedures and practices of the Humanitarian Corridors (HC), a Private Sponsorship Scheme (PSS) that has been operating since 2016. The work of HUMCORE is currently ongoing.

In this context, the Blanquerna Observatory hosted the first face-to-face meeting of the project’s international consortium at the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication and International Relations. During the meeting, a breakfast was held with journalists from the local media who were interested in the project.

More information about the project can be found at this link.
