Institutional Communication and Religion in the Digital Age Postgraduate

The Observatory has created the first Postgraduate Course in Institutional Communication and Religion in the Digital Age with the intention of training professionals to improve the communication and image of ecclesiastical entities, as well as to learn about religion and its media involvement and to detect the keys to corporate communication to apply them to the religious environment; a unique postgraduate course in Spain that combines the triad of communication, religion and new technologies.

According to its director, Dr Miriam Diez Bosch, this is ‘a postgraduate course that relates religious issues to communication, breaking down clichés and offering tools so that religious institutions know how to communicate better, and so that journalists have more elements to report professionally on aspects related to religion, spirituality and new technologies’.

The postgraduate has counted with professors and professionals such as: Antonio Spadaro SJJesús Colina, Paloma Gómez Borrero, Santi Justel, José Beltran, Diego Sarrio, Anna Zelno, Giorgia Miotto, Eduard Triay, Francesc Romeu, Xavier Marín, Enric Planas, Marc Carroggio, Antoni Matabosch, Anna Figuera.
