From its inauguration until March 23, there will be an exhibition in the House of Culture of Girona, where the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ will be represented in twelve paintings using images and figures that appear in the processions during Holy Week in the counties of Girona and the demarcation of the Bishopric of Girona. In addition, a catalog book will be published with the collection of all the contents of this unique exhibition, since it will be the first time that it is possible to see, in a single artistic manifestation, part of the images that year after year, come out in different processions of Holy Week taking place in the province and Bishopric of Girona.

Given the foundational nature of the Confraria, a lecture series has been organized under the title: “Religious Manifestations and Spirituality”, which will take place every Wednesday on March 13, 20 and 27, in the Josep Viader Auditorium of the House of Culture at 8pm. The speakers will be experts of recognized prestige:

March 13th, Mn Armand Puig on “Historic Jesus”

March 20th, Mr. Joaquim Nadal on “Cities and Religiosity”

March 27th, Miss Míriam Diez Bosch on “Religion and Feminism”
