MSCS Fellow on Digital Religion Giulia Evolvi joins the Observatory for 4 months

Giulia Evolvi is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellow at the University of Bologna in Italy, where she is conducting the project MERGE – Media, Religion, and Gender. The project focuses on how Catholic social movements discuss gender-related issues on digital media. Giulia conducted part of the project at the Center for Media, Religion, and Culture at the University of Colorado Boulder, in the U.S., where she also obtained her Ph.D. in 2016 studying religious blogs. At the Blanquerna Observatory for Media, Religion, and Culture, Giulia plans to continue her research on Catholic movements looking at both politically progressive and conservative groups.
