Dr. Miriam Diez Bosch, director of the Blanquerna Observatory, has been featured in El Punt Avui with her analysis of Pope Leo XIV’s Mass at the Sagrada Familia.
Of all the Masses celebrated at the Sagrada Família, yesterday evening’s service carries a unique significance. One hundred years after the death of Antoni Gaudí, who is buried in the crypt, the Bishop of Rome presided over a grand celebration in which he described the basilica, bathed in a warm blue light, as “a catechesis made of stones, colours and light”.
In the homily, the Cross of Jesus Christ was described as “the cross of the last who become the first”.
