The Director of the Observatory, Dr. Miriam Diez Bosch, has published a new opinion article in El punt avui about the Night of the Churches, an initiative organised by Catalonia Sacra.
“Churches are community and celebratory spaces for Christians, but they are also architectural buildings with a peaceful purpose: they invite us to rest, reflect, and engage with transcendent questions.”
“I applaud the way Catalonia Sacra has stripped churches of their words, music, and ‘atrezzo’. The Night of the Churches is unique in being a single night each year that revives the spirit of centuries past.”
