The director of the Observatory, Dr. Miriam Diez Bosch, has published an article on Pope Leo XIV’s visit to Sant Agustí in the newspaper El Nacional.cat.
The Pope, well informed about the places he visits, will grasp as much of the truth of things as he can, and he will witness poverty and vulnerability, as anticipated in the programme.
This stop moves away from institutionalisation. The event may be simpler and more domestic in nature, with more people from the streets and everyday life, and less ecclesiastical weight.
