The director of the Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion and Culture, Míriam Díez, has been interviewed by Radio Estel hours before the beginning of the II International Conference on Freedom of Religion and Belief that will take place on 5 and 6 June in Barcelona.

The congress will present good local, regional and international practices in the management of religious diversity and the promotion of religious freedom and freedom of conscience, and will analyse international standards for assessing the exercise of the right to religious freedom and freedom of conscience and the prevention of violations. Experts and heads of international organisations will take part in the debate on religious freedom and its situation around the world.

Catalonia has done a very good job in dealing with the treatment of religions.
