Professor Lana Kazkaz, from the Blanquerna Observatory, recently joined the GINGKO Interfaith Fellowship, a program that brings together emerging scholars of religion and community leaders from the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and the West. The Fellowship is designed to foster dialogue across the Abrahamic faiths by creating spaces where participants can engage deeply with one another, both intellectually and personally.
This year’s retreat, held from 1–5 September 2025 in Bossey, Switzerland gathered participants including early career academics, and religious leaders. The theme “Productive Encounters With Polemical Texts” invited the group to explore historical and theological writings that have often divided communities, and to re-imagine them as tools for dialogue and reconciliation.
