On Thursday, 11 April 2024, Henrik Reintoft Christensen, Associate Professor and Head of the Centre for Contemporary Religion at Aarhus University (Denmark), presented RECOVIRA to the Blanquerna Observatory, of which he is the Principal Investigator of the Danish part. RECOVIRA (Religious Communities in the Virtual Age) is an international research project that focuses on how the role and experience of religion in Europe has changed with digitalisation, especially since the changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The seminar began with a presentation of the Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion and Culture by its director, Míriam Díez Bosch. Anne Lundahl Mauritsen, also from the Danish research group, and Gero Menzel from Germany also took part. In total, seven European countries are involved in this project.
