Religious pluralism in the new Plan for Interculturality

The Observatory has been present at the debate session on religious pluralism in the framework of the new Barcelona Interculturality Plan, organized by the Office of Religious Affairs of the Barcelona City Council. On October 27th, there was an online meeting about intercultural coexistence and community interaction in Barcelona.

Apart from the presentation of the new plan, which has a long-term objective (2021-2030), and the validation of the diagnosis, we discussed several difficulties and challenges that Barcelona is facing as well as useful proposals to ensure equal rights, non-discrimination and equality in the city, which is considered diverse and plural.
