Rewords: Refugees Words

A project supported by the Network for Dialogue and KAICIID that aims to give a voice to migrants and refugees in Greece. The initiative puts the spotlight on migrants and refugees and gives them the opportunity to speak for themselves by creating a video about their problems, needs and opportunities.

In their own words, they can highlight their needs, the challenges they face, as well as suggestions for improving their situation and how decision-makers can contribute.

The project argues that first-person quotes and stories encourage active listening, attract attention and help build empathy, making it easier to break down prejudices and combat hate and xenophobic discourse in the general population. Co-organized by Synyparxis (Athens, Greece).
