Round table on religious freedom with the Faiths Forum in London

The Deputy Director of the Observatory, Alba Sabaté Gauxachs has been invited as a speaker at the Virtual Seminar “The current status of the Freedom of Religion or Belief around the World”, organized by Faiths Forum London. The meeting was also attended by Lord David Alton of Liverpool – an expert on religious freedom from the House of Lords in the United Kingdom -, Professor Mariz Tadros – from the Institute of Development Studies, the University of Sussex – and of Dr. Amro Hussain – director of the All Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom of Religion or Belief of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. During the conference, Professor Sabaté presented the Chair of Religious Freedom and Conscience in Catalonia, developed by the Blanquerna Observatory of Communication, Religion and Culture with the support of the General Directorate of Religious Affairs of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
