Seminar on ‘Media, Religion and Gender’.

The Blanquerna Observatory on Communication, Religion and Culture organised a seminar on 13 June on “Media, Religion and Gender in Europe” as part of the activities of the European project RISECI (Religion in the Shaping of European Cultural Identity). The seminar brought together speakers from all over Europe, including Mia Lövheim (University of Uppsala), Irene Kamberidou (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), Johanna Sumiala (University of Helsinki), Emiliana Blasio (LUISS University of Rome), Gloria García-Romeral (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), Silvia Planas (Museum of Jewish History of Girona), Caroline Wilson (Universitat de Barcelona) and Gaspar Martínez (Faculty of Theology of Vitoria); in addition to the participation of members of the Blanquerna Observatory, such as Josep Mi Carbonell, Míriam Díez and Jordi Sànchez, who were the coordinators.
