Valentina Laferrara represented the Blanquerna Observatory at the seventh meeting of the Network For Dialogue, which took place on June 5 and 6 in Stockholm, Sweden. The European platform brings together religious and civil society actors to promote interreligious and intercultural dialogue and develop effective recommendations for policies for the social inclusion of migrants and refugees in Europe. The first day’s activities took place at God’s House, a Christian-Muslim collaboration in the suburb of Fisksätra that aims to build an interfaith community center with a church and mosque linked by a central glass-enclosed atrium to create a positive space for meetings, activities and opportunities. The second day consisted of four sessions that addressed active listening as a tool for dialogue, building trust with refugees and migrants through interreligious dialogue, collaboration with political actors, and future strategies for the network.
