Dr Miriam Diez Bosch, director of the Blanquerna Observatory, and Pilar Baradat Marí, PhD student and researcher, recently participated in the conference ‘Refugees & Migrants in Our Common Home: Mobilising Academic Communities for Action’, organised by Villanova University.
Held in Rome and online, the event brought together academics and professionals from different countries as part of the Jubilee for Migrants and Refugees.
The Observatory representatives presented the poster ‘Enriching Wikipedia on Migration and Refugees: The HUMcore Experience’, showcasing an activity conducted with students from the Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations. This activity was led by the Observatory as part of the HUMcore European project, which focuses on humanitarian corridors as safe, supportive routes for refugees.
