The Obs participates in the III Congress of the European Academy of Religion

Last week the Observatory presented the results of some of its projects during the III Annual Congress of the European Academy of Religion, which took place in Bologna. In this context, the director of the Obs, Míriam Díez, spoke about spirituality and literature in three American authors -Emily Dickinson, Carson McCullers and Flannery O’Connor-, the sub director Jordi Sánchez presented the project Missioners.cat; doctoral student Alba Sabaté spoke about a project on youth, religion and technology that has been carried out recently with the support of the Barcelona City Council. Professor Ignasi Boada has contributed a paper which links the philosophy of Heidegger and Panikkar.

 

The European Academy of Religion is the most relevant network dedicated to research in religion from an interdisciplinary perspective in Europe. The Observatory is a founding member.
