The member of the Blanquerna Observatory, Valentina Laferrara, participated on April 7 and 8 in the VII International Congress on Communication and Gender, which took place at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Seville, where she presented the work entitled “The access and use of technology by the religious women of the Raval”. The paper stems from the journalistic research project “TECDORA: Technology and Women in El Raval”, which aims to discover and make visible the degree of familiarity that women in the Raval neighborhood have with technologies. The Congress was organized by the University of Seville, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Sapienza University of Rome. The project has been awarded the 2020 Montserrat Roig Award and is being developed by the Blanquerna Observatory team.
