Members of the international network on migration and refuge, Network for Dialogue (made up of 26 organisations from 12 different countries), visited the faculty during its biannual meeting held in Barcelona this November. The Blanquerna Observatory of Media, Religion, and Culture, a member of the network mentioned before, has received and presented the projects on which they are working. In addition, during the meeting, the video of the initiative on refugees in Greece, “Rewords,” which the Observatory has made with the support of the Network for Dialogue and under the direction of Deputy Dean Judith Colell and Professor Jaume Benet, was screened for the first time.
Visiting entities, with the Observatory and students of the subject Global Governance and Religions, taught by Vice Dean Miriam Diez (3rd Global Communication Management), were also able to visit the Church of Santa Maria de Montalegre and the Sikh Community on Hospital Street in Barcelona.
