Valentina Laferrara, a member of the Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion and Culture, writes in Catalunya Religió again, this time with an article entitled “Catholic, Sikh or Muslim, being a woman believer is empowering”. Taking advantage of the meeting “Women, Youth, References”, an activity framed in the cycle “Religions, Spirituality and Feminisms” organized by the General Directorate of Religious Affairs and coordinated by the AUDIR Association, Laferrara reflects on the role of women believers, the feminist movement, stereotypes towards religious women and their experiences with the education system.
