Valentina Laferrara represented the Blanquerna Observatory at the 6th meeting of the Network for Dialogue, a European platform established to bring together religious and civil society actors to promote interreligious and intercultural dialogue and develop effective recommendations for policies for the social inclusion of migrants and refugees in Europe. The meeting took place on November 19, 20 and 21 in the city of Belgrade, in Serbia. Representatives of different organizations, religious leaders and academics who work in the field of migration and religious studies participated. On the occasion, members of the Network for Dialogue discussed the use of dialogue in political participation and the platform’s next steps, in addition to proposing initiatives to implement three policy briefs related to the situation of migrants and refugees in Europe. The meeting also included a visit to the ADRA headquarters in Serbia and the St. Sava Cathedral, together with Father Mladen Kovacevic.
