Verónica Israel in a session on social media and communication in values

The researcher and member of the Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion and Culture Verónica Israel Turim has been invited to give an online session on Social Media and Communication in Values to high school students who are participating in the Vibrart project, which educates and promotes relationships based on the values of equality, fairness and respect through artistic practices in different social spheres.

The workshop has revolved around the use of social media with a gender perspective and an analytical view of society based on data and algorithmic recommendations within the framework of digital culture. The session was conducted from the Blanquerna Observatory and the StreaM research group (Society, Technology, Religion and Media). The Vibrart initiative, led by the Azahara Association and developed together with the Observatory and the Fons Mallorquí de Solidaritat i Cooperació, has been carried out with the support of the “Educate in diversity” program of the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and the Spanish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation (REFAL).
