The Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion and Culture participated on April 30, 2026, in the public event organized by the United Religions Initiative (URI) at the Saló de Cròniques of the Ajuntament de Barcelona, under the title “Sacred Earth, Shared Humanity: Pathways to Peace in Times of Harm“.
The event brought together representatives from the interreligious, academic, and social sectors in a space for reflection focused on the relationship between spirituality, care for the Earth, and peacebuilding in a global context marked by multiple forms of crisis and vulnerability.
Throughout the dialogue, participants highlighted the need to promote a culture of peace based on cooperation among religious traditions, the recognition of human dignity, and a shared commitment to caring for the planet. Likewise, the value of interreligious dialogue was underlined as a tool for strengthening social cohesion and generating collective responses to the dynamics of violence, exclusion, and contemporary fragmentation.
