We Discuss the Doctrinal Note of the Episcopal Conference with the Bishop of Lleida

On Monday, April 20, 2026, the Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion and Culture held a new webinar within the framework of the DIDI (Digital Disciples) project, this time dedicated to discussing the doctrinal note of the Spanish Episcopal Conference “Cor ad cor loquitur”, the heart speaks to the heart. To do so, the session featured the participation of Daniel Palau, Bishop of Lleida and one of the authors of the note, and it was moderated by PhD student and Observatory member Pilar Baradat Marí.

The Bishop of Lleida clearly explained the objective and relevance of the note, highlighting its aim of fostering a “healthy affectivity” in the experience of faith, in which emotions, intellect, and will are balanced so as to avoid the fragmentation of the person.

The DIDI project — led by the Observatory, in collaboration with the Portuguese Catholic University and with the support of the Porticus Foundation — includes training opportunities for young people interested in communicating Catholicism online, as well as a series of public webinars in which we engage in dialogue about the Catholic faith and how it is lived among young people.
