The Observatory in the Emerson – Blanquerna Pre-Global Summit

The entire Observatory team participated in the conference organized jointly by Emerson College from Boston and Blanquerna from Barcelona on October 23rd and 24th. The conference, which was moved online and was global in scope, had as its main theme “Building Bridges Through Civic Engagement”.

The Observatory team has had the opportunity to present their projects in a variety of panels throughout the two days. We have presented papers in “Mapping of Best Practices for Youth Faith Formation in a Digital Age in Spain and Portugal”; “Mapping Leadership Formation in Religious Institutions”; “Youth on Identity, Diversity and Social Media Activism”; “Is the Media following Citizenship on Twitter?”; “Media Coverage of the Right to Religious Freedom and Belief in Spain”; and “Youth Leadership and Civic Engagement”.
