The Observatory Blanquerna has been one of the invited participants at the virtual meeting MERRI (Meeting where Education, Resilience, Respect and Inclusion) that has taken place on the 15, 16 and 17 of September and has gathered experts on freedom and religious education from all over the world. The meeting has been presided over by the ambassador for Religious Liberty Sam Brownback of the International Office of Religious Liberty of the Department of State of the United States. The director Míriam Díez has explained the implication of the students of Blanquerna at affairs linked with religion: from doing research to managing antiracist campaigns in social media, including moderating conferences with experts or interviewing world religious leaders.
