Where are we?

The Blanquerna Observatory on Communication, Religion and Culture is found in El Raval neighborhood (in Ciutat Vella): the space with more religious diversity in the city of Barcelona. El Raval is the neighborhood of Barcelona with the highest immigration tax, with a 50% of foreign people, mainly from Pakistan, Philippines and Bangladesh.

This trait turns this neighborhood into a crucible of cultures and religions; a space of cultural and religious diversity. 11 Catholic churches, 5 Protestant churches, 1 Greek-Latin church, 4 Muslin oratories and a Sikh temple are part of the surroundings of the Blanquerna Observatory on Communication, Religion and Culture.
