The director of the Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion and Culture, Dr Míriam Díez, has been appointed president of the International Society for Media, Religion and Culture (ISMRC), a research community that focuses on topics such as religious journalism, digital religion and popular culture and entertainment. Dr Díez is the first Southern European academic to hold this position.
