The director of the Blanquerna Observatory on Media, Religion, and Culture, Miriam Diez Bosch, recently met with Mireia Angerri, president of Manos Unidas, a Spanish international NGO for development cooperation. Among other topics, they discussed the desire to promote the Clipmetrajes Festival—an initiative of the NGO—, a short film competition with videos of a maximum duration of one minute. This year, the festival aims to encourage reflection on the importance of committing ourselves to ensuring that all people can have a prosperous life and move towards personal change that leads us to consume responsibly, sharing resources to reduce inequalities. Manos Unidas is one of the partner organizations associated with the Engage network, of which Ramon Llull University is a member.
